Step 1:
Begin by downloading the necessary files: XtreamTV Plugins and DCC_E2 (Dreambox Control Center for Enigma2). Extract both files, launch DCC_E2, input your Enigma 2 IP address, use “Root” for both username and password, then click “reconnect”. Note: Find your device’s IP address under Menu > Information > Network.
Step 2:
Once connected to your box, navigate to the “FTP” section and go to “/var/temp/”. On the right side, locate the saved XtreamTV Plugins and move them to the temp folder. Choose the appropriate XtreamTV Plugin version based on your box type: Mips32el for most boxes like VU zero, Mipsel for older boxes, Sh4 for similar boxes to Spark, and Armv7a for newer boxes like Vu+ 4k and Gigablue SF4008.
Step 3:
In the “Telnet” section, paste and execute the following scripts:
opkg install /tmp/XtreamTV_0.0.1_armv7a.ipk
opkg install /tmp/XtreamTV_0.0.1_mips32el.ipk
opkg install /tmp/XtreamTV_0.0.1_mipsel.ipk
opkg install /tmp/XtreamTV_0.0.1_sh4.ipk
Step 4:
Once the plugin is installed, provide your XtreamTV Plugin ID (Mac address) to your IPTV distributor or add it yourself to your Dashboard. Find the XtreamTV Plugin ID in the “Device Details” section after accessing the plugin with your Enigma2 device.
